Makeup Tips to Never Fail At Your Looks

Updated on September 9, 2015

If you have dilated pores, scars, small wrinkles and other blemishes, always wear primer

The primer conceals the pores, scars, small marks of ageing and expression, and gives a smooth, "soft focus" look.

Never apply blush witout foundation

It will look too strong and uneven.

Apply concealer lightly

Concealer is to soften dark circles under the eyes and acne. If applied too thickly, it will be unnatural and apparent.

If you have sunken or deep-set eyes, wear light illuminating or shimmery eyeshadow and only apply eyeliner at the lashline

except at the outercorne, or else your eyes will look even more sunken.

If you have Asian eyes, apply thick dark eyeliner at the top eyelash

It will make them look folded.

If you have hooded eyes, only apply eyeliner at the lashline

Or your eyes will look wvwn more hooded and the eyeliner can smear.

If your eyes are too close together, never apply dark eyeliner in the inside corner

Or it will look even more close.

If you have small eyes, use light eyeliner in the lower lashline

So they will look bigger, or at lest will not look even smaller.

Never exxagerate on the lipstick

Dark lipstick is for goths and people with dark skin. Avoid it if you are none of these two.

Never do this.
Never do this.

Brown blush is only for dark skin and thinning your face, never to color your cheeks if you are light-skinned

It simply doesn't work.

Never exxagerate on bright colors

Never. Never. Never.

You won't want to look like this.
You won't want to look like this.

Summer days are time for light makeup

Or you'll look misplaced. Never compete with the sun or look dark under it.

Bronzer/iluminator are to highlight parts of your face, not painting the whole face with it

to look like tanned or pale skin.
